At the motet last Saturday, February 1, 2025, the THOMANERCHOR Leipzig performed side by side with the THOMANERCHOR Younger Voices of the 2nd and 3rd grades of the Anna-Magdalena-Bach and forum thomanum elementary schools. It was the first motet for the second graders and also their first joint performance with the Thomanerchor.
The Anna-Magdalena-Bach and forum thomanum elementary school are the Thomanerchor’s two partner elementary schools. There, special classes are held to prepare the next generation for admission to the Thomanerchor.
